Partners/ network The methodology was developed by Professor Pier Cesare Rivoltella and it is now implemented in secondary schools 6. Level European and National level 7. Description of the methods/ approach and/or theories used In the EAS methodology there are three phases: 1. Preparatory: the teacher creates a conceptual framework and assigns a task to students based on that. Students exercise their problem-solving skills deciding how to solve the proposed issue. 2. Operational: students create their digital content experiencing learning by doing. 3. Ristrutturativa (restructuring): teacher and students together review the developed digital project/content using reflective learning and students are capable of critically analyse their work 8. Purpose/Aim The purpose of this methodology is to increase the problem-solving skills of the students and to stimulate their creativity. Moreover, it aims to increase their independence in learning and their capacity of creating digital contents and, at the same time, their level of knowledge self-assessment. 9. Evaluation (results) of its effectiveness The methodology was tested in different schools of different grades. Teachers report that the methodology is innovative and stimulating and that it allows students to learn actively and to improve their digital skills and level of analysis.
