Description of the methods/ approach and/or theories used The TASK methodology integrates a framework for the self-assessment of Key Competences (Communication in the mother tongue, Communication in foreign language or Digital competence) in the lower/upper secondary school, a web application for the self-assessment and a set of didactic approaches and strategies for teachers aimed to support them in the application of the procedure (Guidelines). Teachers can assess, identify the students’ Key Competences, and then certify them with the standard procedures and model adopted by the school system. 8. Purpose/Aim The project aims to support secondary school teachers in assessing their students' key competences by developing a self-assessment online tool for students. The online tool is based on the VINTAGE model that allows the users to self-evaluate their Key Competences. 9. Evaluation (results) of its effectiveness The Joint Research Centre (JRC), the European Commission’s science and knowledge service, has included the TASK project in the report DigComp: Get Inspired, Make it Happen.
