Description of the methods/ approach and/or theories used The platform resembles the interface of the social network Facebook. Participants build their profiles, write posts, and hold online discussions, liking and commenting on them. This way, it follows a co-constructivist approach while having the form of an online community. The platform also incorporates gamification elements, since teachers and students can collect digital badges that reflect certain skills (e.g., helping others, star performer, hard worker etc.). 8. Purpose/Aim The aim is to provide a friendly environment that allows teachers and school leaders to manage online classes. Students can enroll and access educational material, exercises/activities, discussions, games, and assignments provided by the teacher.
